Mugi, an Imugi, is a snake spirit striving for ascension into a full-fledged dragon. To achieve this, he must spend 1,000 years living a noble and kind life on Earth, proving his worth through selfless acts and unwavering kindness.

His interpretation of this mission is simple: befriend and help everyone he meets, even when it comes at his own expense. Mugi is a gentle soul, peaceful and non-confrontational, avoiding conflict at all costs. He sees the best in others and believes that pure-hearted generosity is the key to his transformation.

However, after centuries of aimless wandering, Mugi has somewhat lost his focus, gradually slipping into the comforts of otaku culture and modern human pleasures.

Mugi is genuinely kind, endlessly helpful, and fiercely devoted to those he considers friends. He values sincerity, loyalty, and selflessness, always putting others before himself. Unfortunately, this makes him easy to take advantage of, as he rarely refuses a request—even at the cost of his own well-being.

Despite his overwhelmingly good nature, Mugi struggles with self-doubt. Deep down, he wonders if his current path—working in a maid café, playing video games, and hoarding collectibles—is truly helping him fulfill his destiny, or if he’s merely avoiding the real challenges of his mission.

Over time, Mugi has developed an all-consuming love for otaku culture. He spends much of his free time indulging in video games, collecting anime merchandise, and dressing in elaborate subculture fashion. To support his hobbies, he works part-time at a maid café, fully embracing the aesthetic of his job both inside and outside of work.

Beyond his love for all things cute and extravagant, Mugi is an exceptionally skilled seamstress. He crafts elaborate dresses, accessories, and outfits—both for himself and others—finding solace in the delicate precision of sewing. He also enjoys various handicrafts, using his dexterity and patience to create intricate handmade goods.

As an Imugi on the path to dragonhood, Mugi displays a deep-rooted hoarding instinct, amassing an overwhelming collection of trinkets, fabrics, and seemingly random objects. His apartment is overflowing with possessions he deems "important," reflecting his natural desire to build a treasure hoard.

Mugi is small and delicate, standing at 153 cm with a slender, almost ethereal frame. His bright blue twin tails are his most defining feature—though to magical beings, they reveal their true nature, each one ending in a snake-like spirit entity. To normal humans, they appear as ordinary twin tails, blending seamlessly into his overall aesthetic.

His deep red eyes carry an innate warmth, conveying a quiet courage despite his unassuming nature.

Mugi has a deep love for subculture fashion, particularly maid dresses, which he wears almost daily—sometimes out of personal preference, sometimes because he simply forgets to change after work. His wardrobe is elaborate and carefully curated, blending adorable, elegant, and excessive styles in a way only he can pull off.
