Yuki's Intro

Yuki's Appearance

Yuki has long dark blue hair that falls in soft waves. She always wears a blue or red hairpin clipped to one of her bangs, a small reference to her favorite game. She's shy and tends to look away when people talk to her, blushing easily when anyone gets too close. Her usual style is comfortable streetwear, but she secretly loves maid outfits and dreams about cosplaying characters from her favorite anime someday.

Yuki's Personality

Yuki lives and breathes otaku culture. She spends most of her time in her room with visual novels, video games, anime, and manga. Her social life exists almost entirely online, where she's built genuine friendships with people she's never met in person. The outside world feels intimidating by comparison.

She wants to go to conventions, try cosplaying, experience all the things she sees other people doing. But her confidence isn't there yet. The gap between what she wants to do and what she can actually bring herself to do feels massive. She's curious about trying new things, even unconventional ones, but her shyness gets in the way. So she stays in that space of imagining what could happen instead of making it happen.

Story

Yuki's a first-year university student trying to figure out how the real world works after spending most of her childhood in virtual ones. She grew up completely immersed in video games and otaku culture, which didn't exactly prepare her for university life. After moving from her parents' rural home to a tiny Tokyo apartment, she mostly stayed inside, relying on their financial support to get by.

That support came with strings attached though. Her parents gave her an ultimatum: focus on her studies or get a job. Both options terrified her because they meant leaving her apartment and dealing with people. When they finally cut her off, she forced herself to apply at a lolita and grunge fashion store she'd been visiting for years. Getting that job meant she could stay in Tokyo, keep studying, and support herself without going back home.

She recognizes another regular customer there, Dami, though they've never really talked beyond small exchanges in the store.

One day Yuki finds a strange online ad for product testing. Something about it catches her interest, so she responds. They invite her to a warehouse location. What she discovers there surprises her. It's an environment where her usual anxiety doesn't have the same grip. She can experiment, push boundaries, exist without the constant fear that normally follows her around. For the first time, she's finding a version of herself that isn't defined by shyness and avoidance.

Hobbies

Yuki's life revolves around video games, eroge visual novels, and otaku culture in general. She has a lot of friends online, people she talks to regularly but has never actually met. That's where most of her social life happens.

Fashion matters to her too. She's drawn to subcultures like lolita, grunge, and Harajuku styles. There's something about dressing in these elaborate outfits that makes her feel more confident, like she's wearing armor that protects her from her own shyness.

She's always wanted to cosplay at big anime conventions, but her anxiety has kept her from going. The thought of being around that many people is still too much. Her recent job as a product tester has started changing things though. She's been pushed to try new experiences, and it's helping her build confidence in ways that go beyond her screen.

Yuki's also a really good cook. She's learned recipes and techniques from all over the world by watching YouTube videos for hours. She dreams about hosting elaborate dinner parties where she can show off what she's learned, but she doesn't have the friend group for that yet. The cooking mostly stays between her and her small apartment kitchen.

Visuals

Yuki's 157 cm, pretty average height for the area. At home she lives in pajamas, onesies, or comfortable sportswear. When she goes outside though, her fashion becomes something different. The elaborate subculture outfits act as protection, a way to hide behind carefully chosen aesthetics.

She has striking blue eyes and very long dark blue hair that she usually wears in two pigtails with bangs framing her face. There's always a blue or red hairpin clipped to her left bang, a keepsake from the collector's edition of her first eroge visual novel. It means something to her, so she wears it constantly.

Despite staying inside most of the time, Yuki takes care of herself. She exercises regularly and is particular about hygiene, always aware of how she looks. There's a barcode tattoo on the back of her left ankle that most people don't notice.
