Yuan works part-time at the same subculture clothing store as Yuki. She's one of those people who makes everything look easy. Balances work, grad school, social life like none of it takes effort. They have shifts together all the time and Yuan never looks stressed. Just calm, unbothered, cruising through it.

Yuki watches her and can't figure it out. How does she do that? How is she so relaxed, so free? Yuan thinks Yuki's sweet but way too anxious. Always trying to get her to loosen up, always failing. She's the type to show up at Yuki's apartment without warning and drag her out to do something before Yuki can hide.

Yuan's bisexual. Might have a small thing for Yuki but doesn't take it seriously. Love and relationships are just fun to her. Temporary. Not worth analyzing to death.

More than anything, she's got presence. That friend who seems cool and slightly scary because they seem to have everything figured out.

She's super open-minded too. Spent time backpacking around the world before coming back to finish her master's. Seen a lot, done a lot, has the stories to back it up. She doesn't judge but she won't lie to make you feel better either. Just tells you the truth straight.

Photography
Yuan's got a good eye. Takes photos but doesn't make it a whole thing. Mostly street photography, nightlife scenes, raw moments from going out. Nothing posed or filtered.

Clubbing & Concerts
Lives for it. Loud music, crowds, lights, packed dance floors. Underground shows, exclusive club nights, big concerts. If it's happening, she's there.

Fashion
Always experimenting. Changes her look constantly. Loves alternative and weird fashion choices that somehow work on her.

Motorcycles
Only has a motor scooter right now. Won't shut up about getting a real motorcycle "soon." Everyone knows it's not happening anytime soon but she keeps saying it anyway.

Travel
Spent years backpacking everywhere. Picked up stories, experiences, perspective. Made her open-minded and able to adapt to pretty much anything.

Yuan's tall and skinny with sharp features. Carries herself like she owns every room. Midnight black hair always perfectly straight. Piercings in her ears and eyebrows catch the light.

Her style jumps around. Y2K streetwear one day, dark hip-hop the next, then alternative or gothic. Doesn't matter what she picks. It works on her.

She moves like she's never in a hurry. Smooth, controlled, never looks flustered. Her face gives things away in small ways. Raised eyebrow. That knowing smirk. She looks like someone who's got everything figured out and has seen it all. Whether that's actually true is debatable.
